Get involved … impact the lives of girls and
advocate for girl leadership!

Girl Scout Seniors or Ambassadors, 15 years of age or older by September 1, are eligible for an incredible leadership opportunity while serving as a girl representative on the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Inc. Board of Directors. Girl representatives provide a voice on behalf of all the Gulfcoast girl members! In accordance with council Bylaws, girl representatives are appointed to serve as representatives without the right to vote or make motions at Board meetings, but their participation is greatly respected, valued and appreciated. They are appointed by the Board of Directors and serve a one year term from September until May.

  • September
  • November/December ~ ACTION Rally & Meeting
  • January ~ Annual Meeting of the Council
  • February/March ~ Retreat Meeting
  • May

Girl representatives are encouraged to be highly engaged and attend as many board and governance meetings as possible. In addition, girl representatives are invited to take an active leadership role in other council-related events during the year to best advocate for Girl Scouts and serve as role models for all.
