MINTS FOR THE MILITARY

Mints for the Military is our council’s Cookie Program service project, giving customers the opportunity to purchase cookies to be donated to our active military personnel and veterans.  In 2012, Girl Scouts in our council sold over 37,500 packages of cookies for Mints for the Military.  Every girl who sells at least three packages of Mints for the Military can earn the 2013 Mints for the Military patch.

Girl Scouts Care!

Although the use of palm oil in Girl Scout Cookies is very limited, Girl Scouts and our bakery partners are working to demonstrate good stewardship of our world’s natural resources by purchasing GreenPalm certificates to cover 100% of our global palm oil use.  GreenPalm certificates directly support farmers to become sustainable palm oil growers.
