Legislation related to Florida Senate Bill (SB 700) went into effect on July 1, 2025. SB 700 is intended to reduce foreign influence in key sectors, including the nonprofit community. It requires greater transparency regarding the source of significant donations, particularly those that may originate from or be associated with certain identified foreign entities.
In full compliance with Florida state law, we have updated our donor attestation process and gift acceptance policy. Donors contributing financial gifts will be asked to confirm that contributions are not funded by or affiliated with foreign sources of concern, as defined by the state. These steps ensure we continue to advance our mission with transparency and in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
