Among Elena’s favorite Girl Scout activities was the Little Black Dress luncheons. She especially enjoyed the first luncheon, where girls were paired with women in different media fields. The next year, Girl Scouts were matched with female veterans. The program included interviewing, public speaking, a runway show, and practicing proper etiquette at the luncheon. She formed great bonds and made even better friends and she has Media Marvels to thank for that.

“Media Marvels helps me to be prepared. It’s taught me it’s okay to take time to think about interview questions before you answer them.”
