Outdoor Camp Skills certification allows you to take your girls camping practically anywhere! Anyone in the troop/group can be the camp-trained volunteer.

This is a two part course:

You must be able to attend both courses together.  By attending the planning session, you will plan ahead for the "At Camp" session.

  1. "Planning Session": Topics covered include: camp planning with the girls, kaper charts, progressions, basic skill instruction.  You will form a patrol at the planning session in order to plan meals that will be prepared during the "At Camp" sessions.  Members of your patrol will select items that each will bring with them to the "At Camp" session.
  2. "At Camp" Session: Will occur on December 2, 2017 at Camp Caloosa. Participants attend camp to learn and demonstrate outdoor cooking techniques, fire building, tying knots, execute camp safety, hike through camp and have fun with your new volunteer friends.
  • Please note: Registering for this session means you MUST attend both sessions, the "Planning Session", November 8, 2017 and the "At Camp" session on December 2, 2017 at Camp Caloosa.  After you have attended this course, we will automatically place you in the "At Camp" session.
