Do sharks sleep? What does a manatee dream about? Find out on a Sea Snooze at Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium! Learn about our resident animals and Mote research through scavenger hunts, games and crafts all led by an Education Specialist. Then dive into your sleeping bag in our indoor galleries alongside fish, crabs, corals and more!  This sea snooze program includes dinner, late night snack and continental breakfast.

Girls will be learning the importance of estuaries while collecting organisms that live in Sarasota Bay. During this experience based learning program, Girl Scouts will learn techniques on how to collect data that later can be analyzed.

Adults: If interested in attending as an adult chaperone, please email Gina at ginas@gsgcf.org. Only 10 adult volunteers will be approved as chaperone's. Adult must be a registered Girl Scout member with an approved background check. Adult fee is $25.00 once approved to chaperone by Gina.
