The Girl Scout scholarship fund was established in 1987 by the Board of Directors of Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Inc. and was named the Dr. Elinor Crawford Girl Scout College Scholarship Fund of Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Inc. in honor of its chair, who has served in that position for more than 20 years.

Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Inc. awards up to $1,000 college scholarships to graduating Senior Girl Scouts.  Scholarship eligibility is based on a girl’s involvement in Girl Scouts, her academic achievements, and her service to the community.
