![]() Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Inc. serves more than 10,000 girls, ages 5-17, in ten counties from the Skyway Bridge to the Everglades to Lake Okeechobee. Girl Scouts represent many racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds. Girl Scouts are supervised in a safe environment by qualified, trained volunteers. What do Girl Scouts do? Girl Scouts have fun, make new friends, and discover new places! Girl Scouts go camping, visit museums, care for the environment, help people in the community, experiment with science, learn about music and the arts, scuba dive, travel around the world, and even sell Girl Scout cookies.
You can become a Girl Scout by paying a $10 annual membership fee (October 1 - September 30) and accepting the Girl Scout Promise and Law. No girl will be denied membership in Girl Scouts for financial reasons. A girl can participate by joining a Girl Scout troop or by becoming an independent member. To JOIN Girl Scouts, email gsgcf@gsgcf.org and include the county in which you live. A membership specialist for that county will contact you for troop placement or for individual registration. |
