Who do you want the girl in your life to become? Whether she is 5 or 17, you want her to become self-confident, strong, and compassionate. You want her to respect herself and others, make good decisions, be open to new challenges, and use her skills and talents to make her world a better place. You want her to build strong friendships, be a leader, and put her values into practice in her everyday life.

You want her to become her best self.

Social pressure, image issues, and uncertain security – there are so many potential hurdles to girls' well-being. For over 100 years, Girl Scouts has been helping girls realize their full potential and everything that the Girl Scout Leadership Experience provides.

Girls can become a Girl Scout by paying a $15 annual membership fee (October 1 - September 30) and accepting the Girl Scout Promise and Law. All girls are welcome, no girl will be denied membership in Girl Scouts for financial reasons.

Whether your girl is in K-1 grade, 2-3 grade, 4-5 grade, 6-8 grade, 9-10 grade or 11-12, there are many “pathways” in which she can participate through Girl Scouting.

Check out what Girl Scout Pathways are all about!

Purchasing a membership allows you the opportunity to choose how to participate in
Girl Scouting.  Paying for membership
does not guarantee immediate placement
in a Girl Scout troop.

Girl Scouts provides girls with the tools to:

Lead with Courage when speaking out on issues they care about and taking active roles in groups or in their communities

Lead with Confidence when making the most of their strengths and feeling empowered to make a difference in their lives and beyond

Lead with Character when acting with integrity and compassion, making decisions that promote the well-being of themselves and others

… so that they can make the world a better place.
