Cookie pre-orders are taken by troops beginning January 6, 2012. Pre-orders will be delivered beginning February 11, 2012. Girl Scout cookies are sold by girls in the Gulfcoast council from February 11 - March 18, 2012, at booths outside of local merchants. Girls earn patches, incentives, and Cookie Dough as they reach various levels of sales. Girls who make it to the EXTREME TEAM level of 1,000 packages or more will receive special recognition and incentives including electronic items and a theme park trip! The cookie varieties include Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-Si-Dos, Trefoils, Savannah Smiles, Dulce De Leche, and Thank U Berry Munch. We at Girl Scouts are concerned about trans fats and are working diligently with our bakers to eliminate trans fats from all Girl Scout cookies. Now, we offer a choice of eight healthier varieties. For more information on our annual Girl Scout cookie program, contact the Product Sales Department at 941-921-5358 ext. 340 or email gsgcf@gsgcf.org.
The theme for the 2012 Girl Scout Cookie Program is "What Can a Cookie Do?" In short, a Girl Scout Cookie does "more than you see!" Girl Scout Cookies aren't just a great fundraiser and a tasty treat. Girl Scout Cookies help girls reach their goals, make their communities better, travel, explore, learn life skills, and have fun with their friends. As we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouting, we are also celebrating the success stories and all the amazing things girls are doing through the Girl Scout Cookie Program. ![]() The annual Girl Scout Cookie Program is the world's largest entrepreneurial business experience just for girls. Each year girls learn valuable business skills while raising funds for service projects, troop activities, travel, and leadership experiences. While participating in the Girl Scout Cookie Program girls learn goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics.
Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida, Inc. has chosen Little Brownie Bakers, one of two official bakers approved by the Girl Scouts of the USA, to produce Girl Scout Cookies.
Back by popular demand, Girl Scout cookies can be purchased and donated to our military servicemen and women through the Mints for the Military program.
