This is a two-part course-You must be able to attend both course session dates together in order to complete this certification course.
While attending the Planning Session (part 1), you will plan ahead for the At Camp Session (part 2).
Planning Session: Scheduled for Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Topics covered include camp planning with the girls, Kaper charts, progressions, and basic skill instruction. You will form a “patrol” at the Planning Session to plan meals that will be prepared during the At Camp Session. Each member of your patrol will select items that they will bring to the At Camp Session.
At Camp Session: Scheduled for Friday, May 5, 2023 from 6:30 p.m. until Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Camp Honi Hanta. Participants will learn and demonstrate outdoor cooking techniques, fire building, and tying knots, how to execute camp safety, and hiking through camp, while having fun with new volunteer friends.
Course requires a minimum of 6 participants.
Registration closes 4/20/2023. Refunds and cancellations cannot be processed after 4/20/2023.
