This program is for girls entering grades K-3 in August 2023.
Daisies and Brownies will make a constellation viewer, and moon art. After the program, girls will be able to host their own Star Party at home or for their troop to teach other girls about space. Daisy Girl Scouts will earn their Space Science Explorer Badge by exploring the sun, observing the moon and meeting the stars. Brownie Girl Scouts will earn their Space Science Adventurer badges by meeting Earths neighbors in the solar system, investigating the moon and becoming star gazers. Badges are included. Snacks are food are not included in this short program, so please be sure to eat before the program.
We must meet a minimum of 30 children and 10 adults to offer this event. Cost is $18 for girls and $5 for adults.
This is a drop off event. Only registered Girl Scout adult members, with an approved background check may attend. All adults must register and pay to attend this program with girls.
Registration deadline is October 19, 2023. Refunds and cancellations cannot be processed after October 19, 2023.
