Congratulations, your acceptance letter to the School of Wizardry has arrived!
Its time to put on your favorite Harry Potter inspired attire and board the Enchanted Express for your journey to Camp Honi Hanta. Once you arrive, you will enjoy a magical day filled with all things Harry Potter inspired.
Upon arrival at camp, you will be sorted into your houses. While being sorted, remember that your feelings about your house matter, so be sure to share them. You cant attend this magical school without a wand, but dont worry, youll be making one to bring along to your classes.
Once sorted with your wand in hand, you and your fellow wizards will rotate through various magical classes. Your classes will include Defense Against the Dark Arts (self-defense), Astronomy, Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures (iguanas, turtles, and more), Potions, Muggle Art (calligraphy), and Alchemy (candle making).
A day at the School of Wizardry wouldnt be complete without a game of Quadball (lets chase that golden snitch)! Youll gear up, hop on your broom, and compete against the other house teams until one team remains. The winning team will receive the prized Quadball Cup to showcase their victory!
Hungry for lunch after your busy morning of magical lessons? Join us in the Charmed Hall for a magical lunch! You will also enjoy snacks throughout the day, including our delicious GSGCF butterbeer recipe!
Girls will need to wear closed toed shoes and bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Please dress accordingly for the weather, as some activities will take place outdoors. All supplies and food are included in the registration fee.
This is a drop off event. Only registered Girl Scout adult members with an approved background check may attend. All adults who register will be required to assist with this event. The adult registration fee will include lunch and snacks.
We must meet a minimum of 50 girls to offer this event by November 15, 2023 for required planning.
Registration deadline is December 19th, 2023. Refunds and cancellations cannot be processed after December 19th, 2023.
