This Family Campfire Day is not just about gathering around the fire; it's an opportunity to deepen your connection to our nation's history while enjoying the great outdoors. Join us in honoring the American flag as we share its significance and witness the respectful retirement of an old flag in a heartfelt ceremony. As the sun sets and the stars begin to twinkle, immerse yourself in the rich traditions of our military branches through engaging swaps and spirited songs.
But the fun doesn't stop there! The Campfire Circle is all about laughter and camaraderie, featuring delightful skits that will entertain both young and old. And what's a campfire without the classic treat of S'mores? Savor the gooey goodness of marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers as you bond with family and friends under the warm glow of the fire. So, bring your spirit of adventure and joy, and make lasting memories at a day filled with unity, learning, and delicious treats at Camp Caloosa!
This event is open to girls in grades K-12 and their family members (ages 5 and above).
This is not a drop off event. All children must be accompanied by at least one adult in their party.
Girls should represent GSGCF by wearing their vests/sash during this event.
Registration closes: 11/04/2025. Refunds and cancellations cannot be processed after 11/04/2025.
