Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts are invited to engage in a hands-on
experience focused on animal care!
During this special
day, the girls will learn about horse anatomy while grooming the
horses. They will have the opportunity to clean a horse's stall, which
emphasizes the importance of properly caring for these magnificent
creatures. Additionally, the girls will experience the thrill of
riding the horses. Whether they choose to be led by a handler or ride
independently, they can do so at their comfort level, fostering
confidence and skill development.
Alongside the horse
activities, the girls will interact with the friendly Nigerian Dwarf
goats and chickens. This diverse experience is designed to create
lasting memories while educating them about animal care.
Closed-toed shoes are required. Girls should also wear hats,
sunglasses, and comfortable clothing like capris, leggings, jeans, or
pants to prevent chafing from the saddle. Bring a reusable water bottle.
Horseback fun patch will be included.
