Join us at Camp Honi Hanta to learn the history, traditions, and proper protocols for retiring American flags with dignity and respect. This special event will include a hands-on learning session followed by a solemn and respectful flag retirement ceremony, allowing participants to honor one of our nation's symbols and understanding the significance of its meaning.
This is a unique opportunity for Girl Scouts of all ages and their families to come together in reflection, service, and patriotic spirit. All are welcome to bring worn or damaged American flags for proper retirement.
This event is open to girls in grades K-12 and their family members (ages 5 and above).
This is not a drop off event. All children must be accompanied by at least one adult in their party.
Girls should represent GSGCF by wearing their vests/sash during this event.
Registration closes: 08/28/2025. Refunds and cancellations cannot be processed after 08/28/2025.
All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing by 08/28/2025 at customercare@gsgcf.org.
