Join us for an unforgettable night of fun, learning, and skating at Skate World in Lakeland, FL. This private event for Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida offers a unique mix of hands-on activities, roller skating excitement, and late-night fun all in a safe, supervised environment.
Kick off the evening with a creative arts and crafts activity-design a unique keepsake to take home as a memento of the night. Then, dive into an exciting hands-on STEM activity, discovering how science, technology, engineering, and math connect to everyday experiences-including the physics of roller skating!
Next, lace up your skates for a dynamic lesson with an experienced instructor. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this session will help build confidence, improve technique, and enhance your overall skating experience.
After the lesson, enjoy open skating with thrilling games like Big Six, Limbo, and Red Light, Green Light-complete with prizes! The night's skating fun will conclude with an exciting celebratory balloon drop.
But the adventure doesn't end there! Get cozy with your pillow and sleeping bag as we transform the rink into a giant movie lounge, featuring a lineup of family-friendly films.
Food & Snacks:
- Pizza and beverages will be provided for all girls.
- No outside food or drinks permitted. The Café will be open for purchases.
- A late-night snack and a light breakfast will be served in the morning.

Girls should represent GSGCF by wearing their vests/sash during this event.
Only registered Girl Scout Adult Members with an approved background check may attend. Adults must register and pay to attend this program.
We must meet a minimum of 75 girls to offer this event.
Registration closes: 06/05/2025. Refunds and cancellations cannot be processed after 06/05/2025.
