Be part of a meaningful environmental movement!
Our beach cleanup event empowers Girl Scouts to become environmental stewards by actively taking part in coastal conservation.
Participants will not just collect trash, but also conduct a comprehensive debris audit, gaining firsthand insights into the environmental challenges affecting our local waterways and roadsides. Through this direct experience, girls will learn about marine pollution and its ecological consequences, develop critical observation and data collection skills, build teamwork and environmental awareness, and make a tangible difference in preserving our natural landscapes.
This engaging event transforms environmental education into a powerful, interactive experience. By tallying and analyzing the collected debris, participants will gain a deeper understanding of human impact on our natural environments and become inspired to create positive change.
Join us in making a difference, one piece of debris at a time!
We will meet at the pavilion near the playground.
This event is open to Girl Scouts and their family members.
Girls should represent GSGCF by wearing their vests/sash during this event.
