Join us for a special Homeschool Hangout at Venice Theatre, where learning meets creativity in a fun, engaging environment! During this experience, homeschool Girl Scouts will get an inside look at the world of theatre with a guided exploration of Venice Theatre's three buildings. Participants will have the opportunity to see behind-the-scenes spaces, including set areas and costume storage, and gain a deeper appreciation for what goes into bringing a production to life.
Girl Scouts will learn about the theatre's current production season, including Harriet the Spy, and explore how stories move from page to stage. The program will end in a classroom space with time for group connection, reflection, and a hands-on activity.
This Homeschool Hangout is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and collaboration in a welcoming, open-ended setting.
Girls are encouraged to wear the vest/sash at this program.
All girls will receive a fun patch.
This program is for grades K-12.
