This course prepares adults with the skills to facilitate the Low Ropes Challenge Course experience at Camp Honi Hanta. The program focuses on trust-building, enhancing communication skills, teamwork, and creative problem-solving through various exercises.
Low Ropes Challenge Course activities provide mild to moderate physical challenges aimed at boosting participants' self-confidence and coordination. Participants will gain hands-on experience with spotting techniques and safety protocols through practice and demonstrations across all course elements.
Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will receive a certificate of completion valid for three years, which qualifies the volunteer to facilitate girls in low ropes challenge activities at Camp Honi Hanta.
In-Person Training Session
- Requires moderate physical activity.
- A signed Adult Consent Form for Low Ropes Challenge Course Training - Honi Hanta is required before attending the in-person training session.
Registration Information
- Registration closes: 10/1/2026
- Participants must be registered Girl Scout adults with a current background check.
- Minimum participants: 5
Cost
- Course fee: $15 per person
