Join us for a reading adventure with the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida! We're excited to host a special read-aloud/read-along experience designed especially for our younger Girl Scouts. Together, we'll explore the next featured book from the official Girl Scouts + HarperCollins publishing partnership-stories that uplift, inspire, and reflect the core Girl Scout values of courage, confidence, and character.
Instead of reading independently, girls will enjoy listening to the story together during our interactive Zoom session, where they can chime in, follow along, and share their thoughts in a fun, age-friendly way. It's the perfect opportunity to connect, imagine, and discover the story as a group.
Let's turn the page together-one delightful chapter at a time!
How it works:

* Receive your Girl Scout book in the mail (included with registration).
* Join the Zoom read-aloud/read-along to experience the story together and connect with other Girl Scouts.

We're excited to feature The Amazing Daisies: Make Ice Cream, a fun and engaging Level One I Can Read! story created through the Girl Scouts + HarperCollins partnership. Perfect for emerging readers, this book uses simple sentences, familiar words, and bright illustrations to support girls who are just beginning their reading journey.
In The Amazing Daisies: Make Ice Cream, join Ava, Hazel, and Ellie as they work together to solve a last-minute dessert disaster. When their cupcakes are ruined just before the Daisy Lane Block Party, the trio must think quickly and come up with a creative new plan for the celebration.
During our Zoom session, girls will enjoy a fun activity inspired by the story, and a supply list will be sent out with the book, so everyone is ready to join in.
This story celebrates friendship, creativity, and working together. Perfect for our read-aloud/read-along session, it is designed to help young Girl Scouts build confidence and excitement in reading.
