Are you ready to become a Girl Scout Champion?
Share your passion for Girl Scouting with your community and help grow the movement by serving as a positive role model and ambassador for Girl Scouts. As a representative of the organization, you will have opportunities to promote the values of leadership, service, and sisterhood; encourage girls and families to learn more about the Girl Scout experience; and inspire new members to join. By advocating for Girl Scouts, you can help raise awareness of the impact the program has on girls and strengthen connections within your local community. Girl Scouts who are in their second year as Juniors through Ambassadors (grades 5–12) are eligible to participate in this exciting leadership opportunity, which allows them to build communication, public speaking, and advocacy skills while making a meaningful difference.
Your role as a Girl Champion:
• Discover target markets that have a need to learn more about Girl Scouts. Examples: Your school, house of worship, neighborhood or community, businesses, and more!
• Connect with your communities to encourage support and membership for Girl Scouts. Demonstrate your personal experiences while educating others. Why is it so special to be a Girl Scout? What was a favorite thing you’ve done in Girl Scouts? Why should others join?
• Take Action by participating in various ways to lift your Girl Scout pride and knowledge outside of the troop meetings.
Help Girls Discover Their Potential:
Sharing your passion for Girl Scouts helps inspire the next generation of girls to discover their strengths, build confidence, and try new experiences. Along the way, you'll strengthen your own leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
Recruitment Activities 
Rewards:
• Girls who complete 2-3 recruitment activities: Receive Girl Champion patch & a shout out at YWOD
• Girls who complete 4-6 recruitment activities: Receive previous rewards & Girl Champion T-shirt & Receive GS Program credit worth $25
• Girls who complete 7+ recruitment activities including at least 1 in person girl-led activity: Receive all previous reward and enjoy a luncheon with the CEO and recruitment team, and receive a signed certificate of their accomplishment in the program for that specific year
