Training for adults to become certified in Red Cross Adult, Child, and Infant First Aid, CPR, and AED techniques.
The Adult, Child, and Infant First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course equips Girl Scout volunteers to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed on your own by 11/11/24 in order to attend the instructor-led skills session. You will receive an email confirmation from council regarding the course information after the registration closes; a separate link will be emailed to you from the Red Cross to access the online portion on or around 11/2/2024.
Upon successful completion of both components of the course, each participant will receive a certificate for Adult, Child, and Infant First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.
Bring water, a yoga mat, blanket, or pillow for comfort while performing skills on a manikin from the floor.
This course requires a minimum of 6 participants. Cost is $30 per person.
