A Girl Scout is always prepared. Dive into the world of hurricane preparedness with us at this exciting program! Learn the essential skills to fortify your home and stay safe during a natural disaster. Join the excitement as we empower girls to board up windows, create first aid kits, and set up emergency food pantries. And don't miss the chance to experience the thrill of a hurricane simulation!

 

Your safety is our priority, and this event is your ticket to being prepared and resilient. Join us for a day of learning, hands-on activities, and valuable insights!

 

Take action today to be better prepared for when the worst happens. Understand your risk from hurricanes and begin pre-season preparations now. Make sure you understand how to interpret forecasts and alerts, and know what to do before, during, and after a storm.

 

This event is open to girls in grades K-12th. We must meet a minimum of 30 girls and 10 adults to offer this program event.

 

A patch is included for this event. 

 

The cost is $5.00 per participant. 

 

Adults must be registered, and background checked to attend this event.
