Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida is tremendously grateful to all of our amazing supporters who generously gave to help us reach and exceed our goal! Together, with the generous matching gifts provided by The Patterson Foundation and the Estate of Sandi Stewart, you helped us raise over $32,000 to support Girl Leadership!
We were honored to participate in the 2024 Giving Challenge hosted by the Sarasota Community Foundation. We were thrilled to receive two additional awards: Best Nonprofit Partnership for our collaboration with NAMI Sarasota and Manatee Counties, and Best Business Partnership for our alliance with Children’s World. These prizes provided an additional $4,000.00 of funding, These prizes provided an extra $4,000 in funding, making the 2024 Giving Challenge a tremendous success!

Estate of Sandi Stewart has provided us with a $10K MATCH for the
2024 Giving Challenge!
Sandi’s journey with Girl Scouts began over three decades ago as a dedicated volunteer, driven by her passion for empowering young girls to become confident leaders. Over the years, she served as the finance director and became CEO in 1998. During Sandi’s tenure as CEO, she accomplished incredible milestones, leaving an indelible mark on the organization.
Sandi was a visionary leader who inspired young girls to dream big and achieve their full potential as young women of courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place.
Thank you for honoring Sandi’s remarkable legacy and continuing her mission to create a better future for young women.
