Get ready to put on your vet coat and start your journey in animal medicine!
In this hands-on career exploration program, Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts will step into the world of veterinary medicine and gain valuable knowledge about animal care. Girl Scouts will "adopt" their very own plush puppy, and, through interactive roleplay, will take on the key responsibilities of a veterinarian. They will learn how to properly perform a nose-to-tail exam, administer medications, sew stitches and remove ticks, and care for their furry friends.
Only registered Girl Scout Adult Members with an approved background check may attend. Adults must register to attend this program.
Girls should represent GSGCF by wearing their vests/sash during this event.
We must meet a minimum of 10 girls to offer this event.
Registration closes: 06/12/2025. Refunds and cancellations cannot be processed after 06/12/2025.
