The Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED blended learning
course equips Girl Scout volunteers to recognize and care for a
variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving
adults, children, and infants.
Upon successful completion of both the online and in-person
components, participants will earn a Red Cross Adult and Pediatric
First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, valid for two years.
Blended Learning Format
This is a blended learning course consisting of two components:
1. Online Coursework
- Must be completed before attending the
instructor-led skills session.
- Participants will receive a
confirmation email from the council once registration closes.
- A separate email with a direct link to the Red Cross online
module will be emailed on 03/19/2026.
2. In-Person Skills Session
- Required to complete certification.
- Held at Camp
Honi Hanta.

- Participants must be registered Girl Scout adults with a current
background check.
- Minimum participants: 6
Cost & Subsidy Information
- Course fee: $15 per person
- The full cost of this
course is $30 and is being subsidized this year at this reduced rate
thanks to a generous donation. No shows or cancellations after the
close of registration will be charged the full cost of the course to
their troop through an ACH to the troop bank account.
Registration closes 03/19/2026. Refunds and cancellations
cannot be processed after 03/19/2026.
