Calling all young nature explorers! Join us for an unforgettable day dedicated to learning about one of Florida's most fascinating marine mammals - the gentle manatee! This exciting Girl Scout program is designed to inspire curiosity, conservation awareness, and hands-on environmental education.

During this immersive experience, Girl Scouts will dive into the world of manatees through an engaging 30-minute presentation covering:


* Fascinating mammal characteristics
* Manatee physiology and unique adaptations
* Critical habitat and dietary insights
* Conservation challenges and protection efforts

 

After the  educational session, girls will embark on a guided tour to see these incredible creatures up close, followed by a relaxing lunch under the pavilion. This is more than just a field trip - it's a chance to become marine conservation champions!

What to Bring:
Packed lunch
Closed-toed shoes
Hat and sunglasses
Comfortable clothing
Reusable water bottle

Every Girl Scout will receive the exclusive Manatee Awareness Council Program patch!

Important Note: This is a drop-off event for Girl Scouts ready to make a splash in marine conservation!

There are some applicable Parking Fees for attendees:

 

  • $2 per vehicle per hour (sedans, SUVs, etc.)
  • $5 day pass per vehicle (sedans, SUVs, etc.)
  • $10 day pass per van
