Babysitter's Training provides girls who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants develop leadership skills, learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe, help children behave, and learn about basic childcare and basic first aid. Participants will earn a Red Cross Babysitter's Training and Pediatric First Aid/CPR Certificate.
There will be an online portion that needs to be completed before the class date.
Girls must bring a sack lunch and water bottle.
This program is for girls in grades 6-10. This is a drop off event. Adults are needed for ratio but will not earn a certification. Only registered Girl Scout adult members with an approved background check may attend. Adults may register on a first come, first served basis.
Registration closes: 6/30/2026. Refunds and cancellations cannot be processed after 6/30/2026.
