Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies are invited to explore Florida's coastal ecosystems through marine science, cultural history, and conservation activities at Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center.
Girls will observe sea stars, crabs, and other marine life in aquariums and touch tanks, and see scientists in action through the estuary lab windows. They will receive a private research film viewing, then walk the Snail Trail boardwalk, where they will take in the scenic views of Henderson Creek while enjoying lunch with Girl Scout friends.
Girls will gain a stronger understanding of science in action, learn about environmental advocacy, and build confidence as environmental stewards ready to protect Florida's fragile ecosystems.
