Attendees will rotate through various hands-on experiences focused on stewardship and science. You can visit the Ocean Conservation Discovery station, where Troop 274 will showcase their recent projects and share their passion for protecting our local marine life. We also feature a dedicated Girl Scout Troop Project Showcase, providing a space for other local troops to display their own Earth Day or science-based discoveries and share their hard work with the community. You will even have the chance to meet real-life scientists from Minorities in Shark Sciences (MISS), who will be joining us to discuss marine biology and the vital role sharks play in our ecosystem.
The creativity continues at our Recycled Art Masterpieces station, where kids can turn "trash" into treasure by making art from repurposed materials. At the "Power of Girls" Maker Station, children can engage in hands-on tinkering to build simple circuits or mechanical devices using sustainable materials. Participants can also help "re-wild" the community by creating Native Seed Bombs and learning about local flora.
Our goal is for every attendee to leave feeling like an artist, an inventor, and a champion of the Earth.
