Join Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida for an unforgettable journey to the birthplace of Girl Scouting! Girl Scout Juniors through Ambassadors (Grades 4th-12th) are welcome. On this five-day adventure to historic Savannah, travelers will explore landmarks connected to Juliette Gordon Low, participate in hands-on history programs, enjoy unique local experiences, and deepen their connection to Girl Scout heritage alongside CEO Mary Anne Servian.

 

Trip Highlights

Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace

Spend three immersive hours at the childhood home of our founder. This experience includes a guided tour, hands-on activity, time to explore the museum store, a visit to the garden for photos, and a special pinning ceremony is available. Patch included.

 

Massie Heritage Center

Participate in one of four engaging educational programs that feature the history of Savannah and Girl Scouting. 1.5-hour guided program includes a patch.

 

First Girl Scout Headquarters

Enjoy a 1-hour guided tour of the original headquarters of Girl Scouting. Participants receive a patch.

 

Savannah History Museum - Juliette's Family Tree Program

Spend two hours learning about Savannah's rich history through the lens of Juliette Gordon Low's family. This program includes a patch.

 

SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) Museum of Art

1.5 hour guided tour of the museum with an introduction to the building's history, special exhibitions on display and a craft/activity based on one of the exhibitions.

 

SCADstory

A 4D immersive experience that takes you through four decades of SCAD's creativity and innovation. Journey through the magic of 25 artistic disciplines in a celebration of imagination and design.

 

Fraidy Cat Family Fun Ghost Tour of Savannah

Enjoy a fun, spooky all-ages stroll through gorgeous Savannah. Explore the most haunted city, learn about famous ghosts and discover more about Savannah's strange history.

 

Savannah Square Pops

Enjoy a fun 1.5-hour pop-making program where participants create their own frozen treat. Patch included.

 

Food Experiences

Participants will also enjoy local dining favorites such as:

Leopold's Ice Cream - famous sandwiches and handcrafted ice cream

The Pirates' House - Scout-friendly buffet dinner

Savannah Square Pops - customizable pops and lunch

Bandana Burger's - Women owned, craft burgers

 

Lodging

Hotel Indigo

Enjoy a stay at a 175-year-old historic, riverfront hotel located in downtown Savannah.

Sleeping arrangements will be four girls per hotel room and two adults per room. Adults who would like a private room may request one for an additional charge by contacting Customer Care. Private rooms are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Transportation

Charter bus transportation will be provided to and from Savannah. While in the city, walking will be the primary mode of transportation.

 

Payment Information

A $100 deposit is required to reserve your spot on this trip. The total balance of $700 for girls and $1000 for adults is due by February 1, 2026.

This payment includes lodging, transportation, meals, all listed activities and patches.

 

Girls should represent GSGCF by wearing their vests/sash during this trip. Full uniform (vest/sash, khaki bottoms and white top) will be required on at least one day of the trip.

 

Registration closes: 02/01/2026. Refunds and cancellations cannot be processed after 02/01/2026. 

All cancellation and refund requests must be received in writing by 02/01/2026 at customercare@gsgcf.org.
