Blast off on an overnight adventure among the stars and take your space science journey to the next level!

Girl Scout Juniors through Ambassadors are invited to join us for this immersive overnight astronomy and space exploration experience.

Discover
Girl Scouts will blast off into space science-finding out their age on other planets, mapping the night sky, spinning Newton's color wheel, and exploring the mysteries of light. They'll learn about the James Webb Telescope, uncover the secrets of the electromagnetic spectrum, investigate how stars are classified, explore today's and tomorrow's space missions, and even compare human eyesight to high-powered telescopes.

Connect
Through creativity and collaboration, Girl Scouts will connect with the universe-designing their own 3D constellations, painting cosmic masterpieces, crafting shimmering stardust self-portraits, and learning how their passions could lead to exciting STEM space careers.

Take Action
Girl Scouts will put their knowledge into action by building a scale model of the Earth-Moon system and designing an out-of-this-world habitat for a planet or moon.

Whether she's a budding astronomer, a curious student, or a space enthusiast, this event promises an unforgettable journey through the wonders of space science. No prior knowledge required - just bring your curiosity and sense of wonder!

Girls will receive a fun patch upon completion of this event. All badge requirements for the Space Science badge will be met; however, official badges are not included in the program.

This will be a drop off event.
