This hands-on horseback experience is designed especially for Daisies and Brownies and is offered through rotating activity stations. Girls will explore the world of horses in a fun, safe, and age-appropriate environment while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork alongside their fellow Girl Scouts.
During the program, girls will have the opportunity to dress up in riding clothes, learning about equestrian style and important safety gear. At the tack station, girls can sit on saddles and explore the equipment horses use, helping introduce the basics of riding while keeping the experience playful and approachable.
Creativity shines at the craft station, where girls will decorate horseshoes to take home as a special keepsake. At the grooming station, participants will practice brushing and caring for a horse, learning responsibility, respect, and kindness through gentle hands-on interaction.
Girls will also enjoy arena time on a horse, taking a short, assisted ride led by trained staff. Photos will be taken during this experience to capture the excitement and create lasting memories. To add movement and teamwork to the day, girls will participate in a fun relay race that encourages cooperation, laughter, and active play.
This station-based program allows girls to explore each activity while experiencing horses from the ground up, creating smiles, confidence, and unforgettable moments with their friends. All girls will receive a fun patch.
