Through a series of engaging activities, participants will discover geometry in the design and architecture of the plaza, practice fractions through the meaningful tradition of flag folding, and explore rhythm and ratios through marching percussion. The program will also highlight how data and numbers can help tell powerful stories connected to service, remembrance, and the community.
This experience is designed around art integration, place-based learning, and experiential math, helping participants see math as a living, human practice that connects creativity, civic rituals, and real-world problem solving.
Girl Scouts and their families are invited to participate in this collaborative community event and enjoy a morning of exploration, creativity, and discovery.
