Join us for a quarterly reading adventure with the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida! This quarter, we're excited to host a special read-aloud/read-along experience designed especially for our younger Girl Scouts. Together, we'll explore two featured books from the official Girl Scouts + HarperCollins publishing partnership-stories that uplift, inspire, and reflect the values of courage, confidence, and character.

Instead of reading independently, girls will enjoy listening to the story together during our interactive Zoom session, where they can chime in, follow along, and share their thoughts in a fun, age-friendly way. It's the perfect opportunity to connect, imagine, and discover the story as a group.

Let's turn the page together-one delightful chapter at a time!

How it works:

* Sign up each quarter to participate.

* Receive your Girl Scout books in the mail (included with registration).

* Join the Zoom read-aloud/read-along to experience the story together and connect with other Girl Scouts.

This quarter's featured books:

We're diving into the Amazing Daisies series-fun, engaging Level One I Can Read! stories created through the Girl Scouts + HarperCollins partnership. Perfect for emerging readers, these books use simple sentences, familiar words, and bright illustrations to support girls who are just beginning their reading journey.

In The Amazing Daisies: The Recycling Race, best friends Ava, Hazel, and Ellie discover their playground is missing a recycling bin. With creativity, perseverance, and teamwork, the three Daisies decide to raise money the Girl Scout way-by selling cookies! Will they reach their goal and make their neighborhood greener?

In The Amazing Daisies: Rainbow Scavenger Hunt, the trio sets out on a colorful race along the Daisy Lane nature trail. Their mission? Find all the colors of the rainbow before Hazel's sister Ariel and her friends finish their list. The winning team earns a tray of rainbow cupcakes-but the real fun is in the adventure!

Both stories celebrate friendship, problem-solving, and exploring the world around us. Each book also includes a hands-on activity-making recycled jewelry or going on your own nature scavenger hunt-so girls can continue the fun beyond the page.

Perfect for our read-aloud/read-along session, these books are designed to support young Girl Scouts as they grow confidence and excitement in reading!
